After a long week and a fun weekend out, it is safe to say that this statement applies to the majority of collegiettes: We love brunch. Luckily, BU is situated right by Brookline and Allston—both of which have delicious places to brunch. So ditch your dining hall eggs and bacon and try one of these delicious, local restaurants.

1. @Union

174 Harvard Ave.

Allston, MA 02134

This place is only about a ten-minute walk from BU’s west campus. The food is delicious and inexpensive—need I say more?

2. Zaftigs

355 Harvard St.

Brookline, MA 02446

This “new-Jewish” style restaurant is perfect for Sunday morning brunch. Lox for all!

3. Hops n Scotch

1306 Beacon St.

 Brookline, MA 02446

Situated right in Coolidge Corner, Hops n Scotch is the perfect lazy morning brunch place for big groups of people. It’s two floors and the eggs Benedict are to die for.

4. Cafeteria

279a Newbury St.

Boston, MA 02116

Right on Newbury Street, Cafeteria should be your go-to “brunch then shopping” restaurant. The decor is hip and fun, and the huevos rancheros will revolutionize your favorite Mexican breakfast dish.
