The Best Concerts in Boston: Summer 2018

There’s really nothing better than going to a concert for your favorite artists on a summer night, and the summer of 2018 promises to be a great season for music in Boston. Call up your friends and hunt down the perfect seats, because these are a few of the concerts you’re not going to want to miss.

1. Lorde

When: April 3, 2018

Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA

Lorde is the quirky and lovable pop singer known for her unique voice and performance style, and she’s coming our way this year. Some of her biggest hits are Royals, Team, and Green Light.

2. Justin Timberlake

When: April 4, 2018

Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA

All of us have loved Justin Timberlake ever since we can remember, from his curly-haired *NSYNC days all the way until now. Justin’s biggest songs have been Cry Me a River, SexyBack, and Can’t Stop the Feeling.

3. Post Malone

When: May 24, 2018

Where: Xfinity Center, Mansfield, MA

Post Malone has recently skyrocketed in popularity and it got him a headlining tour that luckily is stopping by the Boston area. Some of his biggest hits have been I Fall Apart, Congratulations, and rockstar (ft. 21 Savage).

4. Kendrick Lamar

When: June 5, 2018

Where: Xfinity Center, Mansfield, MA

Kendrick Lamar is one of the best rappers out there right now and his recent album for the Black Panther movie was incredible. His biggest hits are All the Stars, Pray For Me, and HUMBLE.

5. Zac Brown Band

When: June 14 and 15, 2018

Where: Fenway Park, Boston, MA

Growing up in the New England area, one thing you will hear about every summer is the huge Zac Brown Band concert at Fenway Park. It truly can’t get any more fun than country music in a ballpark. ZBB’s biggest hits are Toes, Homegrown, and Chicken Fried.

6. Harry Styles

When: June 18, 2018

Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA

Ladies, get ready to swoon. Harry Styles is taking his solo act to Boston this summer, and we are all thanking the lord that he decided to stop here on his world tour. Harry’s biggest songs are Sign of the Times, Sweet Creature, and Kiwi.

7. Taylor Swift

When: July 26, 27, and 28, 2018

Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA

Taylor Swift is one of the few artists who doesn’t need an introduction as her popularity has grown exponentially in the past couple of years. A few of her many biggest hits are Look What You Made Me Do, You Belong With Me, and Shake it Off.

8. Jay-Z and Beyonce

When: August 5, 2018

Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA

Name a more iconic duo… I’ll wait. The husband and wife duo are touring the globe together this year, so you don’t want to miss your chance to see them both in one night. Jay-Z’s biggest hits are Empire State of Mind, Ni–as in Paris, and All the Way Up. Beyonce’s hits include Halo, Crazy in Love, and Drunk in Love.

9. Niall Horan

When: September 8, 2018

Where: Xfinity Center, Mansfield, MA

Another ex-One Direction heartthrob is coming to the Boston area this summer, a few months after Harry does. This is another concert that you’re not going to want to miss, as Niall’s music has really blown up this past year. His biggest songs are This Town, Too Much to Ask, and Slow Hands.

10. Ed Sheeran

When: September 14 and 15, 2018

Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA

No offense to any of the other artists on this list, but nobody can write a love song like Ed Sheeran can. His concerts are simple and they showcase the beauty of his voice perfectly. Ed’s biggest hits have been Perfect, Shape of You, and Thinking Out Loud.

These artists are all amazing, but this is only a small sampling of the great acts coming to Boston this summer. Scour the internet for those great deals on tickets, grab your bestie, and get ready for some of the best summer nights you’ll remember all year.
