7 Cool Things You Didn’t Know Existed on Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

BU has a lot of services, but so many of them students have no idea that they exist. So here’s a list of some of the best services offered to BU students, some of which are free of charge, and each one’s website link for more information:

  1. Sargent Choice Nutrition Center Counseling Session

In college it’s sometimes challenging to navigate through all of the food choices available while also maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The Sargent Choice Nutrition Center offers students nutrition counseling sessions with a registered dietitian at no charge. This center provides students with expert knowledge and support to help students meet their individual health goals while living away from home. Each student is entitled to one session; however, students at nutritional risk are eligible for more sessions. For more info or to register for an appointment, visit http://www.bu.edu/nfc/programs/students/.

  1. Catholic Center Spaghetti Supper

Like free food? Want to meet more people? Go to the Catholic Center’s free Spaghetti Suppers every Tuesday starting at 5 pm! Catholic or not, the Center hosts a friendly and welcoming dinner for all students to come and enjoy. They even have both meat and vegetarian pasta sauce choices. (And I can personally attest to the famous garlic bread being delicious!) For more info, visit http://www.bu.edu/catholic/ (click on Calendar of Events to see the Catholic Center schedule of events).
