Not enough shows have strong female friendships. Here’s a list of my favorite female friends from TV shows!

Meredith and Cristina

This classic Grey’s Anatomy friendship has stolen the show for the entirety of Cristina’s character. These two besties were truly each other’s person and inspired many female friendships. Forget about the romance (sorry McDreamy), Cristina and Meredith taught us what love is.

Blair and Serena

While these two girls certainly had their ups and downs, the fact that they care about each other remains constant throughout the show. While they sometimes (okay, maybe more than sometimes) turn on each other, they don’t let anyone else mess with them. By the end of the show, their friendship is stronger than ever.

Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline

These magical best friends are truly goals. I mean, who wouldn’t love to have magic and fight some evil with their best friends? It only makes it so much better that these girls are always there for each other.

Lorelai and Rory

Okay, I know this is a mother-daughter pairing, but they tell each other everything and are best friends in all the ways that count.

Fiona and V

These friends have a perfect balance going. They know how to have fun, but also how to support each other when in need.

Female friendships have been so influential in my life, yet so many shows lack these relationships.
