Starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, the movie follows a columnist on her newest expedition: getting a guy to fall in love with her, with even the craziest of behavior. But, little does she know that he is betting that he’ll also make her fall in love.


3. Julie & Julia

This heartfelt movie stars Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, telling the heartwarming story of Julia Child. It follows Julie Powell and her mission to spice up her life by cooking the 524 recipes of Julia Child’s cookbook. This drama is a feel-good film that will also make you hungry this Thanksgiving!


4. The Shining

If you are looking for something a bit more spooky, The Shining is a classic that you must watch. Starring Jack Nicholson, the movie follows a man named Jack Torrance and his family who are the caretakers at a mountain hotel for the off-season.
