15 Life Lessons from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Whenever someone asks what my dream job is, my response is simply to be one of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Who wouldn’t want to spend their days shopping on Rodeo Drive, going out to lunch and gossiping with their fab celebrity friends, jetting from one hot spot to another, and having it be socially acceptable to own enough Rose for an entire country? Not only can we learn how to throw the most ridiculous and over-the-top dinner parties but the ladies can teach us some serious life lessons.

Here’s how things go in the far away land of Beverly Hills…

1. It’s important to have a drink every now and then.

2. But it’s equally important to stay in shape.

3. Or do a combination of the two.

4. Honesty is the best policy.

5. So always say it to their face.

6. And just tell it like it is.

7. And never ever apologize for it.

8. Be a good friend.

9. And screw those who aren’t one back.

10. Make sure everyone knows who’s boss,

11. And when that doesn’t work just insult their insecurities.

12. Ignore the negative.

13. And try to keep it simple.

14. French fries can solve any problem.

15. And even squirrels?

Keep these lessons in mind, colliegettes!
