Meet Our Team: Belle Weiner

Belle is one of our writers, and she joined us at the beginning of this semester. I always love the energy she brings to meetings and the humor she shows through her articles. Now let’s get on with the interview and get to know her better!

What’s something people should know about you?

I'm really impatient, to the point that it will anger you. Sorry in advance.

I have a fashion passion for patterns, but I never participate in clashin' fashion.

Why did you choose Bryn Mawr?

I liked that it's a women's college and the honor code is so inviting and welcoming! Plus the campus makes me feel like I live in an outdoor museum.

What made you interested in Her Campus?

I had read it when I was looking at schools, and I thought it was really helpful and entertaining, and it seemed like a really creative and progressive space.

What other activities are you involved with on campus? Off campus?

The newly-blossoming sketch comedy group on campus, the art club and a podcast called "Bradcast."

What are some of your hobbies?

I really enjoy drawing and painting, writing and hanging out with cats when I can.

What are you currently obsessed with?

I love Harry Styles, peanut butter straight from the jar, strong female comics and my cats, Butter and Jam.

What’s your favorite way to relax?

My favorite time is eating pasta in my bed with a cup of tea and watching Bojack Horseman.

What are some things you’re up to and how can we support you?

I'm currently creating a podcast called "Bradcast" with my friends (one of whom is a fellow Her Campus writer, Diana Beninati). It's about attending Bryn Mawr College, attending a women's college and any other topic that comes our way, really. Listen to it on SoundCloud if it sounds interesting!

Thanks for your time Belle!
