If you haven’t already heard, Lady Gaga gave the world an incredible performance at the Oscars. She sang “Til It Happens to You,” a song she co-wrote for The Hunting Ground, a documentary about sexual assault on college campuses. Lady Gaga was joined on stage by 22 survivors of abuse, all with messages such as “Not Your Fault” and “Survivor” on their arms. It was by far the most powerful and emotional part of the night. Unfortunately she went on to lose the Oscar for Best Original Song, but it didn’t seem to matter after such a meaningful performance.
