Providence and Newport Parades: Providence will hold its annual parade on March 21st at noon! The Newport one will be the week before on the 14th, so you can attend both if you’re really into celebrating this year! The Newport parade starts at 11 a.m. and lasts two hours.
Boston Parade: Boston takes the crown for the second largest parade in the country on St. Patrick’s Day! This year it will take place on March 15th, so rally your friends for a day trip into the city! This is a fun way to celebrate the holiday with the Irish who do it best!
Providence 5K’s: The Tour de Patrick is a series of three 5k races over the course of March. After each one there is a parade and of course party! Admission to the races are $29 and they start on March 7th! Rally your friends and roommates for an active and fun weekend activity!
