*Warning! We know some of you are still catching up to date on Scandal and this contains MAJOR spoilers*

Who didn’t survive the Scandal season 3 finale!?

A few bombs were dropped in the final episode of season 3, literally and figuratively. The bomb scare carrying over from previous episodes was quickly resolved as Jake and Fitz had the church evacuated before the bomb went off and Cyrus’s original plan of not alerting officials and letting Sally Langston blow up with the church backfired. Sally uses the explosion as a chance to get ahead in the election and aid the bomb victims.

When Fitz finds out that he is about to lose the election he tells Olivia that they can finally be together and he no longer has to stay married to Mellie for the sake of his campaign. That’s when Olivia dropped the verbal bomb that Mellie was raped by his father many years ago and she wasn’t sure if their son was Fitz’s or his father’s. Olivia excepts that her and Fitz won’t be together any time soon after that.

Still with us?

During Fitz’s speech with his family on stage his son Little Jerry starts sneezing blood and collapses. He was rushed to the hospital and died that night of a rare case of bacterial meningitis. It turns out that Little Jerry was actually murdered by who they all thought was Maya Pope poisoning him with the strain of meningitis, but was actually found out to be Olivia’s father.

Olivia asked her father if his offer of sending her to a faraway place with a new life was still on the table. Jake asks to tag along with her and start over and she ACCEPTS! She quit the firm which did not go over well with her associates and boards the plane with Jake.

Fitz took away Rowan’s child, Olivia, so he retaliated in kind by taking Little Jerry. In the end, Olivia gets on that plane with Jake, who sent all the proof of B613’s dirty deeds to David Rosen. There are many unsolved mysteries in the end including whether or not Huck will be accepted back by his long lost family, and if Harrison was actually killed by a B613 agent.

Confused? You gotta watch for yourself!
