Reasons Why We’ll Miss Bryant This Summer

Over the course of our year we seem to get overwhelmed and sick of all the schoolwork. Now that finals are here, and the weathers finally getting better, we are more than ready for the start of summer. Her Campus Bryant wants you to know some things however, that you might come to miss about Bryant.

1)      Having a roommate– Nothing beats after a long day of hating your life (from either bad decisions on the weekends or long days of studying), venting to your roomie about it all before bed.

2)      Parties– Sure summer parties can be fun, but realistically there won’t be as many options or as frequent as they are here at Bryant.

3)      Seeing your friends every day– At school we get to see our friends in the roto just about every day thanks to the single building for classes. When you’re at home you forget that seeing all your friends every day might be thought of as a little obsessive.

4)      Salmo– Woah what?! Yea that’s right people, you heard it here first. We all love the first couple days of homemade food, but once your parents get sick of cooking for you the salmo blues hits.

5)      The 2 minute walk to the gym– Honestly, the walk to about anywhere on campus. Everything is so accessible in our little Bryant Bubble that we forget how annoying it is to drive 20 minutes to the gym and then another 15 to pick up coffee at our favorite spot.

6)      Booty Calls– Let’s be real. Hooking up with your crush gets a lot harder when you have your dad living in the room below you.

7)      Athletic Games– Nothing beats a good fall football tailgate, or a spring weekend spent at the hill dartying for the baseball games.

8)      FREEDOM– Probably the one we miss the most. It’s all fun and games hanging out with your parents for the first couple days. Give it a week and they’ll be badgering you to clean up the house, take the dogs out, do your laundry, wash their dishes, cook them a meal or two because now you’re like so independent and what not, right?
