Anyone who has been following Pretty Little Liars knows the stress and confusion that comes with every episode. And season finales are notoriously suspenseful! Last week’s season four finale provided many answers, and raised just as many questions. From the unexpected return of Noel Kahn in the beginning, to the possible deaths at the end, the episode was an emotional rollercoaster for all of us watching! If you’re anything like the girls here at Her Campus, you probably felt something like this:
1.      Before the episode starts, we’re all obviously so excited. It’s the season finale, and last episode left us with a major cliff hanger!
2.      Noel Kahn is back- who saw that coming?! And more importantly, can we trust him?
2.      Ali’s reunion with the Liars; despite all she’s done to them that was pretty adorable. And long overdue.
3.      “I’m ready to tell you guys everything” –Ali. You’d think that would mean we’re about to figure out all of the answers, right!
4.      Officer Holbrook knows that Ali is alive, and is interrogating the Liars’ families. Mind your own business Holbrook! You have no idea what you’re dealing with!
5.      Alison stealing Ian’s dirty home videos, you go girl! The whole NAT club is so creepy.
6.       Melissa is back! Supposedly she came to help Spencer through her hard time, but do we believe her? And she definitely knows more than she’s letting on!
7.      Who was Mrs. DiLaurentis talking to on the phone the night Ali went missing? Speaking of people who know way more than they should…
8.      Ali is the queen of flirtation. Even the very smart Ezra Fitz fell for her tricks when she lied and told him she was a college student!
9.      Ian totally freaked out when he realized Alison had the NAT videos- he and his friends are definite suspects when it comes to the murder of that other girl.
10.  Does Mr. Hastings really think it was Spencer that tried to kill Ali? Or does he know something more? Maybe he’s protecting someone else, such as Mrs. D?
11.  Spencer didn’t hurt Alison! Or kill the mystery girl!
12.  Alison’s mom saw the person that tried to kill her!! And then buried her own daughter alive! Why wouldn’t she tell the police, and who is she covering for?!
13.  Mona is so creepy. What is with her room of Alison related memorabilia? Can you say obsession?
14.   MELISSA KNOWS WHO KILLED THAT GIRL! The scandal runs deep in the Hastings family.
15.  Ali came back to town when Hanna got hit by a car, pushed Ian off the bell tower for Spencer, and rescued Hanna from the burning lodge! She’s like a guardian angel in stiletto heels.
16.  A HAS ARRIVED! And has clearly come to kill!
17.  Ezra comes to save the day! Redeeming himself just a little.
18.  We come so close to finding out A’s true identity, but of course he/ she gets away right in time.
19.  MAN DOWN. EZRA HAS BEEN SHOT!
20.  At the end of the episode we see someone burying Mrs. DiLaurentis! Can we assume she’s dead, and A killed her for knowing too much?
21.  AND NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL JUNE 10TH TO FIND OUT WHAT’S GOING ON!
It isn’t easy being this invested in a TV show! Hopefully next season will give us even more answers, although we’re probably going to be old women before we find out who A is.
