Dear Big,
There are not enough ways to say how thankful I am for you. College life isn’t easy for anyone. The balance of school work, social life, boys, and activities can drive anyone insane. You are what keeps me grounded, you are my rock. Having you as my partner in crime has made the transition from living at home to being miles away at college much easier for me.
Knowing I have someone to go to with anything makes me feel so comfortable being away from home. Basically, I can just look at you to help me solve all my problems. Big/Little relationships are unlike any other. Big/Littles share a special bond that is hard to put into words. People who are not part of Greek Life or who don’t have a Big might look at us like were crazy, but honestly I couldn’t care less.
You are my drinking buddy, my “go to” girl, my heart and my soul. Despite where in the world you are, I know I can always run to you (even if it’s over the phone). You are beautiful inside and out, perfect in every way, and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have you in my life. Having a Big is something I hope most people can experience so they can see how truly amazing it is.
Writing this letter isn’t easy because I find trouble putting how special you are to me into words. I hope all Big/Littles have the same relationship we do, and I wish for everyone to share such a special friendship. You are my best friend ’til the end, and I am beyond blessed to have found you.
