In case you haven’t heard, Bryant University is getting our own Good Will bin. That is right, following Spring Break students will be able to donate clothing right on campus in the Fisher Student Center. And to kick off its launch, Bryant University’s Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) circle will be hosting a huge campus wide clothing drive! ODK is a leadership honors society made up of the top 30% of each graduating class’ student leaders and honors three of the top faculty and staff members of Bryant each year. This year they have chosen to focus their service learning project on a campus wide clothing drive for Goodwill. To spice things up the drive will be carried out in a form of competition: Faculty and Staff v. Students. The event will be held on Tuesday March 25th in the Rotunda. The two teams will compete to build the biggest pile.
Want to help? Clean out your closets on campus and bring back old clothes you have lying around the house when you get back from Spring Break. If you live in the village or a freshman dorm there will be a collection both Sunday and Monday night before the event. Seniors and those who miss the collection can bring your items to the ROTO on Tuesday on your way to class. Help us build that pile and beat the faculty and staff! Feel free to e-mail Hillary Coombs: hcoombs@bryant.edu with any questions!
