Meet Marissa Epley, this week’s campus celebrity who was lucky enough to meet the Kardashians over the summer!
HC: What was it like meeting the Kardashian’s this summer?
ME: So fun, I couldn’t get over how nice and friendly they were to my dad and me. We chatted for about 15 minutes and they kept asking us about ourselves and wanted to know all the good places to go in Southampton. My dad knows nothing about them and only met them as a favor to me, so he kept like asking them questions everyone knows the answer to, like “oh Kourtney how many kids do you have?”, but they were really cool about everything.
HC: How was the DASH store?
ME: The store itself is very small and cute, just like a lot of boutiques in the village. I bought my grandpa socks from there that said “bad ass”. My best friend actually worked there so I would stop by all the time to say hi.
HC: Who was the prettiest and realist?
ME:I actually thought Kris was the prettiest, I couldn’t get over her smile. I really liked Kourtney’s personality and I thought she was the realist and had the most interest about meeting my dad and me.
HC: Any other Kardashian/Jenner sightings this summer?
ME: Since Kourtney and Scott spent the whole month of July in Southampton they were kinda hard to miss. Within an hour of coming home from school this summer I saw them both driving in their white lambo through town.
HC: Any funny stories about them being out?
Me: Yes, actually the mayor of Fire Island wouldn’t let them on the island to film for the day, and since my dad is the mayor of my town he called him and said that they aren’t bad and don’t cause any disturbance, so the mayor let them film for the day. They ended up sending my dad flowers as a thank you.
HC: Any chance we will see you on the show?!
ME: Hopefully! They had my dad and I sign release forms and said the little thing we filmed might be on it. We didn’t have any drama in it so I don’t see it actually making the show though haha.
