Famed designer and longtime girlfriend of Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger was found dead in her New York City apartment on March 17, 2014.
She was born in Utah but started her rise to fame when she became a model in Paris, then became a stylist for starts and finally starting her own label.
There have been rumors that her business, LS Fashion Limited, was in financially trouble; however reps are strongly disputing that notion. Friends have also suggested that Scott was too caught up in her work and was continuously stressed about the future of her business and its success.
Another rumor has circulated that she and her boyfriend of ten years, Mick Jagger, had recently split. This also seems to be untrue due to reports that he is deeply saddened and shocked by this news.
While we still do not know why such a talented and intelligent woman who seemed to have it all decided to take her life so soon, the fashion industry and the rest of the world is mourning a great loss.
