Kimye Gets Engaged!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.
On Monday, October 21st at 8 pm, Kim Kardashian and baby daddy/boyfriend Kanye West arrived at the San Francisco Giants stadium as a birthday surprise for Kim.  As they walked onto the field, a 50-piece orchestra played Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, and Kanye’s “Knock You Down”. The words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!” appeared on the Jumbotron as Kanye got down on one knee and proposed to Kim! Of course Kim said yes, and fireworks exploded over the stadium. Little did she know, her family and friends had been hiding in the dugout, and they ran onto the field to congratulate the newly engaged couple.

Kanye West pulled off a magnificent proposal and the best birthday surprise ever for the 33 year old reality star and new mom. The ring that Kim received is a 15-carat cushion-cut diamond made by their close friend, Lorraine Schwartz, who also witnessed the proposal. Kim told E! News the next day, “Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world! I get to marry my best friend!”
