If “High School Musical” Was Set at Bryant University

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

1.      For starters, the Roto would definitely be the scene for many impromptu musical and dance performances

2.      Our men’s and women’s basketball teams would kill their Midnight Madness performances every year

3.      The Bryant Players would have a bigger presence and influence on campus

4.      Janikies would undoubtedly need to be renovated. There would have to be more seating so everyone coud attend the spring, fall, and winter shows

5.      Our Division 1 men’s basketball team would often break out into song in dance during tense moments of a game, and celebratory dances on the court would be mandatory after a victory

6.      Who doesn’t remember the song and dance from the cafeteria at the Wildcat’s high school? We can totally imagine a group of students breaking out in a sad song over their disappointment with Salmo’s offerings on any given day

7.      The love story of Troy and Gabriella is the forbidden love between a science geek and a basketball jock. At Bryant the two star crossed lovers would be involved in the PA program and the college of business. Talk about two different worlds.

8.      We might need to change our beloved bulldog mascot to a fierce feline to go along with the wildcat theme, instead of the student body referring to ourselves as “dawgs”

9.      Who can forget the epic pool party from High School Musical 2? We’re picturing so many floats and people jumping into the Bryant Pond

10.   By the end of the academic year, we would expect athletes, Greek life, business students, liberal arts students, PA students, and NARPS to find some common ground and sing an inspiring song together at graduation
