How To Throw A Last Minute Friendsgiving

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

Want to throw a Friendsgiving celebration but afraid there’s no more time to prepare the meal? Fear no more, we have created a Friendsgiving menu that is simple and does not need much prep time.

1. Rotisserie Chicken

Even though the main Thanksgiving food is turkey it can take too long to roast. Save yourself the time and buy a premade rotisserie chicken.

2. Frozen Potatoes/Microwavable Mashed Potatoes

These potatoes will save so much time of washing, pealing, dicing, and mashing potatoes and they taste so good.

3. Stovetop Stuffing

This stuffing is inexpensive and takes a short time to prepare!

4. Roasted Asparagus

All you have to do is wash the asparagus, put olive oil, salt and pepper, and roast it in the oven! So easy!

5. Pre-Made Pies

Buy a pie at a local farmer’s market and it will be homemade but just not made in your home.

6. Disposable Plates/Silverware

Save the hassle of washing dishes and just buy paper products to make clean up easy.

Throwing a last minute Friendsgiving does not have to be hard or expensive! After all, no matter what you are eating, Friendsgiving is about being surrounded by people you love.
