How to Spend Your 3-Day Weekend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

President’s Day Weekend is approaching and we’ve got the ultimate activity list for you and all your friends. While you may be tempted to catch up on sleep all weekend, our suggestions will keep you motivated to go out and cross everything off this list!

1. Go to the movies

With so many blockbusters that came out this month, we already know which one is at the top of every girls’ list… Fifty Shades Darker! Make it a girl’s night with your suitemates! Or if you’re looking for something a little different – check out Split or Rings for a thriller to keep you on the edge of your seat. For a lowkey movie night, keep it simple and head to the Lincoln Movie Theatre. If you want the ultimate movie experience check out the AMC Dartmouth Theatre for the full service of reclining seats and online food and drink ordering.

2. Bowling

The CW Lanes are a hidden gem at the Lincoln Mall. For a good time off campus, this bowling lane has it all with videogames, food and drinks. Check out their website for pricing, hours, and group rentals for groups 20+.

3. Snow Tubing

With all the snow that’s been hitting us lately, now is the perfect time to go snow tubing at Yawgoo Valley. Located in Exeter, this place is 40/45 minutes away from campus but we promise it’s worth the trip. A 50 minute session on their snow tubing area is priced at $15 person… but can you really put a price on fun and happiness? For directions and hours, see their website for more info and fun!

4. Road Trip

Three days is plenty of time to get out and explore with friends and family. A road trip is the best way to get the most out of your long weekend. If you’re looking for a new, exciting adventure, check out Boston or New York City and explore. If you’re looking for something more relaxing, try a spa weekend getaway. With so many options out there, check out Groupon and Airbnb for inspiration and a starting point. Don’t let this weekend slip away from you – get out there!
