How It Feels to Wait for the Friend That’s Always Late

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

We all have that one friend that is always notoriously late….

Making us wonder if they believe in using an alarm clock.

So we tell them to be everywhere an hour earlier than the real time it starts…

But despite this, they still find a way to be fashionably late

We can’t even explain the amount of awkward situations that their lateness has made us endure

Sitting in booths at restaurants alone…

Making small talk with random strangers in public places….

Or sitting in your car in their driveway for an hour when you’re picking them up

They even make us feel crazy for sending five different texts telling them “on the way!”

We’ve even gotten used to them not apologizing for being late because it’s so common

But when they finally do show up, it’s all worth it
