Fall is definitely our second favorite season of the year (nothing compares to summer), Fall is when we can wear the cutest outfits, sip on pumpkin spiced lattes, and absolutely obsess over Halloween. Halloween may be just one night a year, but the amount of thought that goes into a costume can have us brainstorming in July. Lucky for some of you last minute Lizzies we have the cutest, easiest and cheapest costumes out there for you! For a cheap costume never be afraid to play with a little makeup.

The Sugar Skull

This only requires some make up skills, and if you don’t have them never be afraid to ask your floormates! For your hair just add some faux roses that you can find at Claire’s or at your local craft store. You can rock your cutest black dress with this makeup to keep it simple.

Vamp it up!

Almost every girl has been a vampire at least once in her childhood. You don’t need to have a white face and blood dripping from fake fangs to get the point across. Use a dark red lipstick, some black eye makeup and faux vampire teeth and you’ll have everyone lining up to be bitten.

Deer Oh Deer!

This costume is for more advanced makeup artists, but is easily learned by newbies. You can find plenty of YouTube tutorials showing you how to get this look step by step. It’s super cute especially with a simple dress of any neutral color and a pair of suede wedged boots.

Rosie the Riveter

This look is totally classic and cute, especially for you feminists out there. Just throw on your favorite flannel and red lipstick; add a cute bandana around your head and you are set for the night! Simple as that, and you will definitely be the most comfortable at the party.

 Minnie Mouse

There’s always one Minnie at a party and if you’re planning last minute, make sure you’re the cutest one! Any red skirt or tutu will do for bottoms, you can cut out white paper dots and stick them on if you really want to get fancy. Add a plain black top, short sleeve or long sleeve depending on the weather, Finish it off with Minnie Mouse ears and paint on a mouse nose and whiskers and you will look perfect!

No matter what you wear make sure you are fun and stay safe! Always stay close to your girls and don’t accept open drinks from strangers! And try to get the makeup off before bed!
