Don’t forget to sign up for the career fair that’s being hosted in the MAC on Tuesday September 24th from 5-7:30pm. It’s never too early to start connecting with companies whether it is for an internship or your future career!
Here are a couple tips for looking and acting professional at a Bryant Career Fair event:
1. Dress in your most professional atire. Stick to nuetral colors and look classy! Whatever you do, don’t be one of those girls wearing a miniskift and blazer thinking you look professional, YOU WILL feel out of place.
2. Invest in a professional portfolio! Places like Target have them for great prices! The Bookstore has a custom Bryant one too!
3. Practice your introduction! Tell them who you are, what your role is at Bryant, why you’re interested in their company, and what you’re ultimately looking for.
4. Present yourself with confidence and a smile! It’s normal to be nervous your first time around, but acting confident can go a long way. Take a few deep breaths and be yourself!
