Hey collegiettes! We know as smart, bargain hunting college students we all love a good deal when it comes to buying clothes online. But with thousands of online retailers all promising the lowest prices. it’s super easy to get caught in a scam. These websites are great places to score a deal and are all ones we at HC Bryant have personally used in the past!

Hautelook

A division of Nordstrom, Hautelook features daily events with products ranging from clothes for Men and Women, Shoes, Handbags, Housewares and Beauty. With new sales starting everyday at 11am it’s easy to make sure you’re up to see what’s new. It’s free to sign up, free shipping over $100 and easy returns by mail or to any Nordstrom rack store!

Ideel

Very much like Hautelook, Ideel, which is owned by Groupon, offers the options of Clothing for Men and Women, Shoes Handbags, Housewares as well as a specific section for plus size Womens clothing, a rarity in discount websites. With new sales everyday it is easy to find new things all the time. The brands at Ideel vary a lot more than Hautelook, so it may take more time to find the hidden gem you are looking for, but with a little persistence you can score a great deal on some of your favorite brands!

AdoreMe

For those of us who love new bras and lingerie but hate the expensive price tag of Victoria’s Secret, AdoreMe is for you! Its free to sign up and after providing your size you get a showroom of all the styles and colors they offer in your size. They also offer other cool things like halloween costumes and PJs in sizes from petite to plus. With your first bra and panty set being only $24.95 and free shipping it’s a no brainer. Just be careful with the VIP membership which can save you money, but may cost you if you forget to skip that month by the 5th!

Rent the Runway

Looking for a dress for a fancy party/event? Rent the Runway will be your lifesaver. With Rent the Runway you have the whole New York fashion week at your fingertips, without having to empty your bank account to get it. Once you sign up, (for Free) you can see all of the amazing dresses and accessories they have to rent. They offer two plans, where you can either rent dresses for a few days at a time, or pay a per month price and have access to their closet all the time! With the courtesy of usually being able to rent two sizes of the same dress for the price of one, you shouldn’t sweat on it not fitting for the big day. For new customers there is usually a deal of 20% off your first rental, making it even cheaper for you to try on that amazing dress you just saw on the runway.

JJs House

If you need a more formal dress for a wedding or other fancy event but want to be able to actually own it, JJs House is awesome at making dresses in hundreds of styles and colors in any size you need. Having personally used it for my junior year prom dress, I can say with confidence that the dresses are good quality and will last through multiple wearings. The dresses run from about $50- $200 but with the option to have the dress be custom made for you, this is a great option for anyone who doesn’t just want any old dress off the rack.

JustFab and Fabletics

Coming from the minds of Kimora Lee Simmons and Kate Hudson, these are great if you love new clothes and shoes on a monthly basis. As a VIP you get a stylist who picks options that fit your tastes and you get the option to buy what you like. Its free to sign up, but as a VIP you have to skip the month by the 5th to avoid the $29.95 fee, which can be later used as store credit. It can be hard to cancel the subscription, but if you are an on top of the game colligete, it can be a great way to get cheap shoes/accessories and workout gear!

Zulily

While you might know it as the website your old sister uses to get clothes for you nieces and nephews, it turns out Zulily is way more. Similar to Hautelook and Ideel with daily deals in the categories of Women, Men, kids, home and many others you can just about always find something that works. With free shipping with VISA Checkout, you definitely need to be making Zulily a regular.

Overall collegiettes, when shopping online follow the age old rule of, “If it seems to good to be true, it probably is” and you should be able to find great deals without worrying about scams!
