October is finally here and there are so many activities to get into the fall spirit right near, and at, Bryant!  Get all your friends together and make the best of this season!

  1. Take a trip to Jasewell’s farm located right in Smithfield!  Go apple and pumpkin picking, drink apple cider and make sure to get one of the great big candy or Carmel apples that they sell! Located at 50 Swan Rd  Smithfield, RI 02917
  2. Enjoy what’s left of remotely nice weather and go to WaterFire in Providence this Friday, October 5th.  It takes place on Memorial Boulevard right near the Providence Place Mall.  Get off campus for a little bit for shopping, dinner and then WaterFire outside!

  3. New England might be one of the most beautiful places during the fall months with all the leaves changing color.  Take advantage of all the pretty scenery and the crisp air and go for a hike in North Smithfield.  The Richard Knight Fort Nature Refuge is a great place for nature walks and hikes and located close to Bryant!

  4. Also be sure to visit Lincoln State Park located at 2 Manchester Print Works Road Lincoln, Rhode Island right near Bryant!  This is another great park to enjoy the New England fall weather and enjoy an afternoon off campus.

  5. Newport, Rhode Island is beautiful all the time but especially in the fall.  Take a road trip for the day with friends or a boyfriend and enjoy everything Newport as to offer in the fall!  There are many Harvest Fairs and Festivals throughout October and November, here’s the link to give you all the details!
