If any of you have parents on Facebook you all know what kind of parents we’re talking about:
1. The parents who decide they have to instantly friend request every human we’ve ever mentioned by name because they think that’s a thing that should happen. Please, don’t add the cute boy from my psych class mom, I’m begging you.
2. There’s the parent who tries to fit in with your friends so they post articles and pictures that may be funny to them but to you it’s just a picture of an old cartoon with a weird joke written on it that doesn’t make much sense at all.
3. We can’t forget the parent who posts more pictures than they should. I’m sorry mom, but I really don’t think that anyone need 17 different pictures of the cheeseburger you ate for dinner last night.
4. Everyone has the one parent who feels the need to post everything in all caps, I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A FUNNY DOG VIDEO DAD BUT WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT US???
5. The parents who give WAY to much information about us when they post…no mom I don’t think that your friends really need to know about the time in second grade when I got nervous to sing in the class play and peed my pants, but thank you for sharing it with everyone.
But no matter how weird and embarrassing they may be on Facebook or in real life they are still our parents and we love them, awkward comments and all!
