4 Things To Do Before The Semester Ends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

Nobody thought Halloween would come around so fast, right?  Well now it has passed.  This year is going by quicker than we could have ever imagined so before this semester ends there are a few things on campus you have to take advantage of.  We came up with four so check them out and check them off your “to do” list before the semester ends…

1. The Amica Center Internship Resources

  • The Amica Center wants to help you find opportunities and learn more about careers, graduate school, search strategies, and more.  We know how scary it might be as a freshmen to walk into all of this, but trust us, The Amica Center is full of experienced people who are there to help you.  Below are just a few of the internship resources that can be available to you 24/7:

2.  The Third Floor of The Fisher Center

  • Before The Fisher Center opened, the only two places on campus to ideally collaborate with a team on any project was either a classroom or the study rooms in the library.  We all know how quickly those study rooms fill up, and well, the classrooms seem “so far”.  Thankfully, The Fisher Center’s third floor is completely practical for team settings!  Take advantage of grabbing a white board to keep calm and collaborate on.

3.  The MAC

  • Not a lot of people, surprisingly, know this on campus but the MAC is typically open up for anyone to use.  Grab a few of your friends, a basketball, and get in a fun workout!  It’s a funner alternative than going to the gym and feeling like you need to follow a specific workout.  Heading to the MAC tends to be a lot of fun!

4.  The “Backyard” of Campus

  • The backyard of capmus is right behind the Unistructure!  The Rugby field, the surrounding neighborhoods, and the running trails are absolutely beautiful in the fall.  Before it gets too cold, or even icy, head back there for an afternoon jog with your best friend or even a cute walk with your significant other!  The surrounding neighborhoods are very hilly and offer a great place to get in a good leg workout with sprints whereas the Rugby practice field could sport a great place to have a picnic!
