1. Greeting friends with a hand shake instead of hug
A good handshake is a staple at a business school. It is how we introduce each other, close deals, and finish presentations. So, when an outsider comes to visit and they greet us in any other way, it usually ends in a weird hand/hug love child.
2. Students dress nicer than professors
Don’t get us wrong, we love when everyone dresses up for presentations,(guys look 100x hotter when in a full suit) but it can be awkward when your professor is not dressed as well as their students.
3. Having your closet resemble Hillary Clinton’s
Pants suits, on pants suits, on pants suits
5. Hearing “Debit or Credit?” and having major flashbacks to your financial accounting class
We also have a newly found respect for our fellow students that are future accountants.
6. Being able to carry on boring adult conversations for days
We know just about everything about all aspects of business, which really helps when we meet our S/O’s parents.
7. Reading the WSJ everyday in order to understand what your professor is talking about
Or if you just really want to impress them during your causual pre-class convo
8. Having crazy realizations about the business world
Wow, now we get why H&M only released a select amount of the Balmain collection, and #tbt to Lily for Target
9. You have a new found love for The Profit and Shark Tank
A bottle of wine and an episode of Shark Tank is sometimes better than Netflix & Chill
10. Knowing the names of Fortune 500 Company CEOs, but not knowing the presidents of the United States
11. Knowing at least ten guys who want to be the next “Wolf of Wall Street”
We still love you, finance majors
12. Business Casual is our Dress Code
Enviously looking at our friends snapstory of them going to class in sweats makes us question our choices for just a moment
13. Having more connections on Linked In than friends on Facebook
There will will always be those guys who are willing to connect with practically anyone
