1. Velvet

Velvet is a winter essential this year whether you are keeping warm for class or dressing up your Friday night outfit. Wear it as a dress or match it with a skirt and tights!

2. Leather

Leather is killing two birds with one stone this winter! It keeps you warm and makes you look extremely stylish! Whether its leather pants, shoes or a bra-lette shown here, make sure to incorporate leather into your winter wardrobe!

3. Trench Coat

This winter be sure to grab a trendy trench coat! Who doesn’t love to stay warm from head to toe and look good while they’re at it?

4. Booties

Boots, boots and more boots. Over the years boots have been it. We’ve seen knee high boots, thigh high boots and now the “must have” are the booties. This winter dress up your outfit with a casual look or go out with your tie up heal booties.

5. Plaid

Another winter must have is plaid. You can finally relive your school girl Britney Spears look this year with your plaid attire. Plaid is everywhere this winter from scarfs, amazing pants worn here by Miranda Kerr, and even cute going out skirts!

6. Turtlenecks

This winter when you hear turtleneck you don’t have to think of your mom bundling you in ten layers, you can think style! Turtlenecks are hot this winter! Keep warm with a turtleneck and dress it up with a cute skirt similar to famous fashion blogger shown here, Negin Mirsalehi .

7. Patterned Sweaters

Another favorite to have in your winter wardrobe are patterned sweaters. Patterned sweaters can be worn like fashion blogger Negin Mirsalehi as a crop top with a cute go-out look. You can also go search your mom’s closet for that patterned sweater from the 80’s, they’re in!

8. Flare Pants

Taking it back to the 90’s flare pants, INCLUDING jeans are back!  Dress up your outfit with a cute fall sweater and some heels to complete the look!

9. Collared Shirts and Sweaters

Comfy sophistication is what we like to call this next must-have winter look. Brandy Melville loves it! Grab a collared shirt and your favorite comfy sweater and you’ve got comfy sophistication.

10. Flared Skirts

Need a new look this winter besides pants, pants and more pants? Grab a flared skirt! Flared skirts go great this winter with a pair of tights. Flared skirts are also hot in leather, patterns and even denim!
