10 Fall Must Haves Under $50

Now that it’s becoming fall,  it’s pretty much sweater weather —  yay! New Englanders know the full meaning of fall. It means the mornings are freezing and then by the time you’re out of your class you are sweating in your pants and sweater. Below we are going to list our top 10 items we recommend having in your fall wardrobe, all for under $50!

1. A lightweight jacket

With the weather starting to get cooler in the mornings and evenings, it is going to be to your benefit to have a lightweight jacket you can throw on for your walk to class when it’s chilly outside. This one from Forever 21 is perfect because the color is very in for fall and goes with a lot.

2. A long sleeve dress

The fall weather is so unpredictable. In the mornings you may be freezing and then by lunch you’re sweating; we totally feel you. One way to get around this is by wearing a long sleeve dress. The sleeves will keep you warm in the morning but when it gets a little warmer out you will be happy you have a dress on.

3. A flannel

This one goes along the lines of having a light jacket. Fall is all about layering so that when the weather changes halfway through the day, you can take a layer off. Flannels are a perfect way to layer and add something fun to your outfit.

4. A pair of dark jeggings

As the weather gets cold that unfortunately means making the change from shorts to pants. Along with putting away shorts, fall means making the transition away from white and lighter jeans and going for darker shades. If you’re like us then you hate wearing pants, let alone having to put on uncomfortable jeans. We recommend a comfy pair of dark jeggings like these ones from American Eagle!

5. Jogger pants

We all have those days when we wake up and want to just go to class in sweatpants. Well collegiettes, now’s the time. The weather is cool enough for you to finally wear them to class. If you still want to be comfy but look cute, we suggest a pair of comfy jogger pants. It’s like you’re wearing your favorite sweatpants from track in high school, but you actually look pretty put together.
