How to Find Your Signature Scent Based on Your Star Sign

The Her Campus National Editors write about products we love and think you’ll love too. Her Campus has affiliate partnerships, so we get a share of the revenue from your purchase. All products are in stock and all prices are accurate as of publication.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brown chapter.

The simple spritz of a nice scent can breathe just the right amount of life into you, as you prepare for classes, extracurriculars, and meetings. In fact, a 2016 Scientifica Pharmaceutica article titled “Influence of Fragrances on Human Psychophysiological Activity: With Special Reference to Human Electroencephalographic Response” by Kandhasamy Sowdharajan and Songmun Kim affirms the cognitive benefits of perfume. They say, “In traditional medicine as well as in aromatherapy and herbal medicine, essential oils and fragrance compounds have been used for the treatments of various psychological and physical disorders such as headaches, pain, insomnia, eczema, stress-induced anxiety, depression and digestive problems.” So, in other words, if you decide to delight in a new fragrance purchase, you are actually improving your wellbeing… while simultaneously maxing your weekly budget.

Now that we have established the studied and certified benefits of perfume to legitimize your purchase, we can delve into the aromatic world of selecting the scent that emanates your personal energy. The sensorial world of fragrance can align well with and be guided by your star sign.

With the help of a USA Today article “What is my Zodiac sign? A guide to all 12 Astrological signs and what yours says about you” by Anna Kaufmann, read below to find your personal signature scent!
