There is nothing worse than waking up on a Sunday morning, forced to face the pile of work you left for the last minute and the fact that the next day is Monday, with a pounding headache and an extremely upset stomach–almost as upset as your mood when you realize the upcoming week is full of hefty assignments. Below are some tips and cures for that horrible hangover, to help you rally for the day of studying or for the next night of partying.

  1. Charcoal pills

Take some before drinking as a preventative measure

  2. Chug water before bed

The most important cure is water. Hydration is key to minimizing the hangover.

  3. Stay up

Wait until you are sober before going to bed, so that you don’t wake up feeling awful.

  4. Bagels

Any BEC in the morning, especially those from Bagel Gourmet, can cure the painful pit in your stomach when you wake up after a night of too much alcohol. The prospect of a bagel will also motivate you to get out of bed.

  5. Chase with Pedialyte

It’s rich in electrolytes, to keep you nourished and hydrated.
