As the leaves begin to change and the weather turns colder, many people want to enjoy as much remaining outdoor dining time as possible. This desire becomes even stronger when coupled with concerns of dining inside given the threat of Covid-19. Luckily, Providence has plenty of amazing restaurants with outside seating options. Below is a list of some of the best ones!

Mare

Mare Rooftop is a seafood restaurant located in Wayland Square. It has beautiful views of Providence and delicious food and drinks. Plus, during the winter the staff puts out igloos for outdoor customers so dining outside is year round.

Pasta Beach

Pasta Beach is an Italian restaurant in Wayland Square. Although the interior has a great vibe to it, the restaurant has opened its doors and windows so it almost feels like you’re dining inside. It’s a quick walk from Brown’s campus and serves an amazing selection of Italian foods.

Waterman Grill

Waterman Grill is located right on the water, making it a perfect spot for brunch or dinner. The staff is incredibly kind and respectful of Covid-19 concerns. Make sure to order the avocado toast or the challah french toast and don’t forget to make a reservation!

Plant City

If you’re looking for a quiet spot to study or you’re craving healthy vegan food, make sure to head over to Plant City on Water Street. It has a great view of the water, plenty of outdoor dining, and healthy and nutritious food options.

Dolores

Dolores is a fantastic restaurant with a great vibe and an even better selection of authentic Mexican cuisine. The drinks are delicious and it’s a perfect Friday or Saturday place to enjoy the last days of warm weather.
