Victoria Beckham x Target: Posh Spice on the High Street

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bristol chapter.

Victoria Beckham has officially confirmed she is collaborating with American retail giant Target, in her first move to the high street since she began her namesake label in 2008. Starting off as a small, low-key presentation at its launch, the brand has sky rocketed to become a regular feature at the prestigious New York Fashion Week. Her move to high street retail is not Beckham’s first attempt at making her designs more affordable, launching a cheaper range Victoria by Victoria Beckham in 2011, but is certainly her most drastic. Her Target collection will include just over 200 pieces for both women and children, with prices ranging from an affordable £5 to £57. Speaking of her new collection, Beckham has said “I always say that I want to empower women and make women look like the best versions of themselves. That shouldn’t be only people who can afford to spend a certain amount of money”. Now we can all feel and look like a Posh spice!

UNIQULO’s simple and flattering designs are infused with accents of the unmistakable Liberty floral style, perfect for any occasion with the collection ranging from tank tops, to dresses, to jackets. The collection launched back in March to coincide with the reopening of UNIQULO’s flagship store on Oxford Street, so check it out before all the items are gone!

Despite the CEO claiming that the brand would not make a move to activewear back in 2014, J. Crew have finally jumped on the hype to join the likes of Stella McCartney who collaborated with Adidas, teaming up with New Balance. The collection consists of 20 sportswear pieces, launching this year to a great reception.
