CoppaFeel- Boob Week!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bristol chapter.

CoppaFeel are a charity on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer. Their main purpose is “to help everyone stand the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer by educating you on the importance of getting to know your boobs”. CoppaFeel’s message is simple- we all need to be educated in checking ourselves and our breasts regularly because too many women, and men, die of breast cancer due to late detection. CoppaFeel remind us that “currently over 2000 cases are diagnosed at stage 4 each year – there is no stage 5. This is unnecessary.” Many celebrities, like Fearne Cotton, have got involved with the charity and also lots of universities, like Bristol are doing their bit too.
