It’s that time again. The time of late nights and early mornings. The time of sweatpants, no makeup, and frustration. The time of “did you finish the study guide?” The time of finals. Finals are here and the last thing Her Campus Brenau wants is for the Golden Tigers to become stressed out. Don’t worry Kim Kardashian and I have some tips to help you get through this stressful week!
1. Find a study partner/ group
Having a buddy to quiz you can be very helpful. Y’all can make flashcards and test each other. Having someone to explain it too will help you remember the content better.
2. Get plenty of rest
During finals week it may seem impossible to get any sleep. Getting plenty of rest can help your thought process. Your mind cannot think clearly when it is running on two hours of sleep, so make sure you are getting the proper rest before your final exams.
3. Don’t over think it
Your mind is a powerful thing. If you think bad thoughts, then bad things are bound to come. But if you think good thoughts, then good things will happen. Having positive thoughts can help you feel confident before and after your exam.
4. Put time aside to enjoy yourself
Doing something that makes you happy can relax and rejuvenate your mind. Whether that something is reading, coloring, hanging out with friends, or taking a nap, make sure you do it!
