Buzz & Beats on 89.1 WBCX

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brenau chapter.

Now a days, people rarely even listen to the radio. People feel like there is absolutely no meaning and/or point for radio, but that’s not always the case. Instead of just narrowing radio down to music, people should think about all the amazing radio shows out there and what they cover. Some radio shows make people, keep people updated, and even spreads a little light upon the ignorant. Speaking of radio, there is this new show on 89.1 WBCX about the Brenau experience. The show is called Buzz & Beats and it airs every Saturday at 3 p.m. Many people have a mile long worth of questions about Brenau and also what goes on our campus, so that’s why this is here. This show is going to answer all those questions people have out there about Brenau. Buzz & Beats will cover all Brenau related things like events, sports, campus life, entertainment, and food. Who doesn’t’t love to talk about all those things, especially food? This show also stars some amazing, outgoing, and lively people. Those people are Cierra Franklin, Avery Dill, Samantha Fountain, Charlene Hendricks, Sommer Stockton, and even myself. If you seem to have busy and outrageous Saturdays, you should just turn your radio on 89.1 WBCX and take a little time to laugh at the amazing Buzz & Beats’ cast. You can also stream the radio station online with the Tune In Radio app. Buzz & Beats is great for laughter, relaxation, information, and even if you just want to hear some entertaining. Those who have questions about the Brenau experience will have questions no more thanks to Buzz & Beats. People don’t forget to tune in on Saturdays at 3 p.m. and hear what you’ve all been waiting for. The station 89.1 WBCX just got a little bit more exciting.
