“Black Girl Magic is a rallying call of recognition. Embedded in the everyday is a magnificence that is so easy to miss because we’re so mired in the struggle and what society says we are.”                – Ava Duvernay

Dynamic duo, Angel and Iesha, the owners of iGet Juiced put their heads together, and came up with an idea to open a juicing bar. Their idea stemmed from wanting to incorporate a healthier, and more wholesome alternative to unhealthy food choices within their community. iGet Juiced serves nutritious and delicious meals, as well as raw juices and smoothies to help recharge, and vitalize the body. The founders of iGet Juiced believe that in order to have a viable business three components must be met:

  • Be passionate about what you do

  • Make your business opportunities a strong investment

  • Nurture your business & make it a labor of love

One of the main objectives is to not let fear stand in your way when it comes to starting a business. As you grow as an entrepreneur, you’ll face many challenges and uncertainties, but you have to develop a “just do it” attitude. Angel and Iesha know the importance of assessing, and reevaluating their overall goals for iGet Juiced. They believe that success is a building legacy that will have an impact on their generation, their children, and those following behind them.

Remember:  You too, can become a successful, black entrepreneur. Consult with like-minded individuals, and follow your dreams.
