So, I hear you are on the swim team.  How did you get involved?  How were the NAA Championships this past week?

I got involved when I came here for the midyear meet up last May. I talked to Coach Kotch at the meet up and we kept emailing each other to make sure that I would be able to join the team during the second semester. I joined in late December of last year and went to Puerto Rico with the team. UAA Championships were amazing last week. I got personal best times in every event I swam so I did well individually. There were a lot of large teams in our conference that had better swimmers so we came in last but as a team we are proud of the effort that we put forth this season.

What’s your impression of Brandeis been so far?  Since you are a midyear, what did you do with your time off?

My impression of Brandeis is great. I love being involved in the Brandeis community and meeting new kids that are nice, friendly and smart like me. I am really enjoying Brandeis. With my time off last semester, I took classes at a state college near me in Connecticut to get credits.

What other things have you become involved with since arriving at Brandeis?

I am a member of the a capella group called Manginah, I am a member of a Israeli consulting group called Tamid, I am a member of Brandeis Orthodox Organization, and I am involved in a Jewish learning group called Meor.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a Sportcenter anchor.

What would be your perfect first date?

In Italy riding on a gondola down the city of Venice.

What do you look for in a significant other?

I look for a girl who is smart, pretty athletic, funny, caring and honest.

What is your biggest turn off?

My biggest turnoff is a girl who brags about a special talent or achievement.

Tell me one fact about yourself that no one would know!

I love talking, listening and watching sports.

She was born and reared in Los Angeles, CA, which does mean that she is a die-hard Laker fan… Sorry Bostonians. When Andrea is not routing on her favorite basketball team, she dedicates her time to her many passions. They include reading and writing about fashion, traveling, exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends, watching reality television (she has a weak spot for Bravo), shopping, and working out.
