Parachute Concert

As the fifth stop on their Wide Awake Tour, rock band Parachute performed at Boston's Royale Nightclub last Friday night to a sea of enthusiastic fans (read: many shrieking teenage girls, a handful of guys who have got rhythmic head bobbing down to a science, and some adults in the back who probably thought "Eh, why not?" as they were walking past the venue). The crowd erupted over old favorites like "White Dress" and "Kiss Me Slowly", but new jams like "Jennie" and "Without You" were certainly not lost on the impressively dedicated fan base. Lead singer Will Anderson closed off the night by walking through the crowd while singing "New Orleans" with such passion that I don't think any person there will be able to get over it anytime soon.
