Morning Routine with Curly Hair

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

Growing up with curly hair always meant either spending hours on it every morning or giving up and putting it in a bun. Now in college, I have come to accept my curly hair as a part of who I am. However, there is still a process you go through every morning.

Waking up and looking at yourself in the mirror

Trying to calculate if you have enough time to shower to calm your hair down just a little

Giving up and freaking out about what you can possibly do with your hair

Resorting to the full on bun- the ultimate deciding factor

Saying tomorrow you will either wake up earlier to shower or straighten it

Then repeating the same process the next morning
