Daryl Christopher Salon and Spa

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

We firmly believe that if our hair looks great, then we feel great… plain and simple. If that means waking up an extra 30 minutes early to straighten, curl, or wash our hair, we will do it- no questions asked. This past Wednesday, we got off the hook from having to style our hair and (wore it in buns all day) because we were invited to receive complimentary blowouts at the Daryl Christopher Wellness Salon and Day Spa in Waltham. The awesome facility is located on 840 Winter Street inside the Boston Sports Club, which is only a 10-minute drive from campus.

When we arrived at Daryl Christopher, we were greeted by a lady named Kate who represents the spa. She then introduced us to the salon and spa owner, Angela Guido who gave us a private tour of the incredible facility, which features two massage rooms, a reflexology room, facial rooms, a waxing/spray tan room, and a huge salon area. We also were treated to champagne and delicious snacks!

Next, we put on robes, took our hair out from their buns, and were photographed for the before picture of our hair. We then made our way over to get shampooed and the fun really began- the blow out! The blowouts took about 30 minutes and we were really happy with the results. Our hair was smooth, flippy, and looked great. Afterwards the photographer took pictures of the results, and it was cool to see how awesome our stylists Erez and Delilah were able to make our hair look in such a short amount of time.

We are already planning our next trip back to Daryl Christopher since we were so impressed with the service. Daryl Christopher is an awesome place to go before a formal event, job interview, or if you just want some pampering. The salon is so close and getting any treatment from DC is the perfect pick me up when you need a boost of confidence.
