Best Retail Therapy Spots in Boston

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

Everyone knows there’s amazing shopping in Boston. Newbury Street is the 5th Avenue of New England. However you don’t need to go all the way into the city to shop! Here are some awesome places a little closer to campus.

The best mall in the area is the Natick Mall in Natick, MA. They have 250 stores and restaurants, making it the largest mall in the state. Some of their most popular stores include Zara, Urban Outfitters and the Apple Store. http://www.natickmall.com/

The newest outlet mall in greater Boston is the Assembly Row Outlets in Somerville, MA. It’s so new, that not all the stores have even opened yet! They already have J. Crew Factory, Nike, Adidas, Charlotte Russe and an Express outlet opening soon, just to name a few. It’s also easy to get to. Simply take the T on the orange line to Assembly station. http://www.assemblyrow.com/

A great downtown shopping experience can be found in Cushing Square in Belmont, MA. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes, with cute one-of-a-kind boutiques here and there. http://cushingsquare.com/

Of course, there’s always Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA.  One of the most famous places to shop in the world, Harvard Square has boutiques like Free People, restaurants like Mr. Bartley’s, and coffeehouses such as Algiers Coffee House. http://www.harvardsquare.com/
