My top 4 beauty must-haves

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bradley U chapter.

If you’re anything like me, you love trying new beauty products. For me, one of the hardest parts of being a consumer in the beauty industry is the overwhelming number of products to choose from. However, if you’re looking to try something new, here are four products that I have grown to love and have incorporated into my daily routine.

Fenty Beauty FreeStyle Cream Blush

Rihanna’s makeup line almost always hits it out of the park, and this cream blush is no exception. I love simply dabbing the blush onto my cheekbones and blending it out with my ring finger. This creates the most natural looking and seamless pop of color to your base makeup. Personally, I use shade 04, crush on cupid. It is a gorgeous, brighter pink, but there are eight shades available that are perfect for many different skin tones.

The oRiginal Makeup Eraser

After purchasing this product, I’m not sure I’ll ever use traditional makeup wipes again. If you haven’t heard of this product, the Makeup Eraser is a reusable, machine washable polyester cloth. Only water is needed to remove an entire face of makeup. As someone who loves to layer on her mascara, I have always struggled to completely remove all remnants of it. However, since using this cloth, taking off my makeup has never been easier, gentler and better for the environment.

The Ordinary Niacinadmide 10% & Zinc 1%

I have been consistently using this product in both the morning and night for just over six months. It is an oil control serum that has helped me minimize the number of breakouts I get. I have found that even with the occasional breakouts, they resolve much quicker since using this product. Of course, as with any skin care products, what works for me may not work for you, but I highly encourage you to give this serum a try — especially because it is only $6!

THAYERs ALcohol-free facial toner

While on the subject of skin care, I was never the type of girl that used a toner. I received this toner for Christmas last year, and my skin care routine truly changed for the better. Using this product leaves my face feeling hydrated and refreshed … and this is coming from someone who struggles with dry skin! It’s another super low-cost product that I recommend you incorporate into your routine!
