Today I am going to be recommending hair products that have worked on my very curly hair.Â
My favorite products for my naturally 4c hair care products from the brand As I Am. Now when it comes to a wash day, you must start by cleaning your hair. My hair feels and looks the cleanest when I use the As I Am Rice Water collection which consists of the Micellar Shampoo and Conditioner. Based on the Yuka app, which we will be using in today’s article, the shampoo is an 83 and the conditioner is a complete 100. Yuka is what I will be using to tell the quality and score of each product depending on their list of ingredients.Â
On full wash days, when I need a deep conditioner, I will use the h2oh Deep Conditioning Mask which is a 65, so i don’t use it all the time. Another option would a Shea Moisture deep conditioner. Normally to seal it in, I will spray a Shea Moisture honey and yogurt leave in spray which scores an 86.Â
After the wash, I will use hair butters to lock in whatever moisture I have from washing. My favorite is the As I am Doublebutter Cream, but it scores at a 41 which isn’t good. So, because of this I will use it every other time and will sometimes use the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Curling Gel which scores at a 93. If I don’t want the heaviness of that product, I will use The Mane Choice Daily Hair Dressing which scores a 93 as well. Using hair lotion has completely changed my hair for the better. It is the best change I’ve ever made in my hair care routine.Â
Next and finally hair oils. Of course, my favorite one is going to be a product from As I Am, and it is called the Long and Lux Pomegranate and Passionfruit Hair Oil which scores 100. Then the next oil is the Jamaican Mango and Lime, Black Castor Oil which scores at 79. The next brand of hair oil is called tru gro and this one scores at a 100 while the final brand which is growth MD scores at a 93 and I use their hair oils as well.Â
