Rihanna is taking the world by storm with her Savage x Fenty clothing line, Fenty Beauty, and obviously her Grammy winning albums. As Rihanna gets ready to kick off her new makeup line, we are also ready to tackle the Super Bowl line in all of its glory. I was already obsessed with the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, so I was excited to see what this new set had in store.
On Fenty Beauty’s website under the tab “Game Day” with a football icon, you will find the new line with flashy green colors and typical football shaped merch. So let’s get right down to the play. First, the lip, the Fenty Beauty lip is iconic and arguably the star of the show in this line. The Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick is a must have in your collection, especially the limited edition football decor. One thing I hate about matte lipstick is that my lips always end up crusty and chapped, but this product’s first ingredient is dimethicone, which is a skin hydrator, preventing dry lips.
Our second lip product comes as a Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer. I am more a fan of lip gloss rather than an actual lipstick so this was a must try. This gloss tends to dry fast, so apply quickly. The plus side is that the glossy finish stays for hours and has little to no transfer. As a paler person with an olive undertone the RiRi shade doesn’t suit me but this is all on preference.
