If your Friday nights are anything like mine, then you must be a movie junkie. However,  sometimes it’s hard to find more great options since I have watched a collection of movies. But, when I rely on luck and give a movie a chance, they turn out to be some of my favorites.

So, if you are like me and enjoy a good movie night, then this post is for you! Here is a mix of movie recommendations with a few opinions, but no spoilers.

1. The Longest Ride (Prime Video)

Now, if you are a sucker for romance, then this one is for you! Luke and Sophia are in love but their relationship struggles after one of the main characters has to make a tough decision. But don’t worry they are not the only love story in this movie! You will have mixed emotions throughout the movie, but the ending will leave you in tears.

2. Peppermint (Netflix)

Talk about a DRAMATIC, edge-of-your seat, nail-biting film! Peppermint is that plus more. The movie is about a woman who faces a tragedy and then disappears for five years, but after that time away she is ready to strike back! And we have to mention that the lead role is played by the iconic Jennifer Garner.

3. Clouds (Disney Plus)

Get your tissues ready because this one had me crying throughout the entire movie. It’s based on the true story of Zach Sobiech. Sobiech is a young teenager who is inspired by music. When loved ones become notified that his cancer has spread, he begins living his dream.

4. Case 39 (Netflix)

This movie is for the individuals who are into scary films. It’s a movie about a social worker who is trying to save a little girl from her abusive parents, until the social worker learns that the little girl has a little secret. In all honesty, this movie had me spooked for two days, so watch at your own risk.

5. 17 Again (Netflix)

Who doesn’t love a good movie with Zac Efron in it? A little classic throwback of a middle-aged man who hates his life, but he finally gets a do-over to become 17 years old again and he has a chance to fix his mistakes.

6. What Happened to Monday (Netflix)

This a mind-blowing dystopian science fiction that will leave your head spinning. It’s about identical septuplets who live in a world where each family is only allowed to have one child. So how do these seven sisters pass government rules? You’ll have to watch to find out.

7. The Last Song (Disney Plus)

I couldn’t make a recommendation list without adding this classic. It’s a movie about a teenage girl (Miley Cyrus) and her little brother who go to visit their dad for the summer to rekindle their relationship. However, Ronnie falls in love with a boy she meets and their relationship goes on a rollercoaster. While during her summer vacation, something tragic happens during all her family and relationship drama.
