Fall is almost here, and I am so excited! Most people love the season for all of the pumpkin flavors, the weather, and the fashion. Fall is easily my favorite when it comes to fashion because it is a nice in-between period where you can still wear dresses along with more cozy items, like sweaters. All of these items are my go-to pieces and are so versatile that they can be styled in lots of different ways. Here are five top essentials to enter the colder weather.

1. Classic, neutral-colored sneakers

This is definitely a given, but it is still essential to any ability. Sneakers can be dressed up or down and the right style can elevate any look. Comfort is also key, and sneakers can be worn to class or they can be dressed up to go out with friends. My personal favorite sneakers are the Old Skool Vans or the Superga Cotu classics. Neutral colors are also my favorite because they can be paired with almost any outfit.

2. Cozy Cardigan

Sweaters and cardigans are fall must-haves and can make any outfit instantly cozier. There is never a time where I can be found without a cardigan in my bag because I take one everywhere. A cardigan is a great piece to help ease the transition from warmer to cooler weather. Cardigans also come in a variety of colors and styles, from classic neutrals to bold prints. You can never ever have enough cardigans…

3. Denim or Corduroy Skirt

Skirts are the perfect piece for moments when you want to be a little dressed up but not feel too fancy. They can be styled with a variety of tops and can be dressed up or down. My personal favorites are denim and corduroy skirts because of the texture that they add to outfits!

4. Gold Hoops

Gold hoop earrings are so classic and chic. Once again, they are versatile accessories that can be worn casually or used to dress up an outfit. Small hoops can be worn everyday while larger hoops can make a statement.

5. Statement Jacket

A fun jacket can add texture or color to your look. Leather jackets can make an outfit look edgy, while denim jackets can make an outfit look more casual, especially when paired with a dress. My current favorite jacket is a cropped corduroy jacket that adds texture to any look!
