Over the past month I have went to two concerts, Tyler, the creator and Girl in Red. I will admit it was amazing to experience two of my favorite artists in concert. Covid has really set back artists and their tours so I thought it was awesome to experience the ambiance of a concert post-covid. I think that it made the experience even more special and appreciated by everyone.

Tyler, The Creator

Tyler, the Creator is one of my favorite artists of all time so, when the Call Me if You Get Lost tour tickets went on sale I was so excited and had to score a few. I have been dying to go to a Tyler, the Creator concert since I was 15 and I was so excited that I finally had the chance! I brought my brother, my boyfriend and myself. The tickets were expensive but they were worth every penny. Teezo Touchdown, Vince Staples, and Kali Uchis opened for Tyler. Kali Uchis gave an amazing opening performance and it was so amazing to see her perform some of my favorite songs. When Tyler came on stage I lost it (literally), I was so excited! He performed a lot of songs from CMIYGL but he played songs from Igor, Flowerboy, Cherrybomb, Wolf, and Goblin. Tyler is a stellar performer but is also really personable with the audience. The special effects, lighting, and props were also super cool and complimented the music so well. It was so amazing to see my favorite songs performed right in front of me! This concert and experience was definitely a 10!

Favorite sets: WUSYANAME, She, Who dat boy, NEW MAGIC WAND.

GIRl in red

I had recently started listening to girl in red when my sister asked me if I wanted to go to a concert, I was so excited! The concert was held at a small venue in Columbus, making it feel pretty intimate. Holly Humberstone opened and I had never heard of her music before but I was in love with it! Girl in red gave an amazing performance and was super involved with the crowd. She played songs from her newest album( if i could make it go quiet), a few singles, and her EP’s. Girl in red gave an amazing performance and it was so awesome to experience an artist that was so in tune and involved with her audience and fans!

Favorite sets: girls, we fell in love in october, midnight love, I wanna be your girlfriend.
