A Heart Warming Thanksgiving Full Of Recipes

Gobble Gobble….it’s the season for Thanksgiving. Everyone will soon be heading home for Thanksgiving. Many people come together on this holiday to spend time with family and friends. This holiday helps us as people remember what we are thankful for. There may be some people cooking with there family or just there to enjoy the moments that they have on this day. I am here to share some secret dishes that you can make for this day.

Dinners

  • Artichoke & Spinach Chicken Casserole: This dish is really for when you want to try something different at Thanksgiving. I know a lot of people cook the same stuff every year, but maybe you would like to surprise your family with something new.
3 cups Uncooked Bow Tie Pasta
2 tablespoons Butter
½ pound Fresh Mushrooms (sliced)
1 Medium Onion (chopped)
2 Large Eggs
1 ½ cups 2% Milk
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (crushed)
3 cups Cubed (cooked chicken)
14 ounces Water-Packed Quartered Artichoke Hearts (rinsed and drained)
10 ounces Spinach (frozen chopped, thawed and squeezed dry)
2 cups Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
4 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (grated)
⅓ cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1 tablespoon Butter (melted)
½ teaspoon Paprika
  • Pot Roast: All you will need is some vegetables and roast. This will actually take a long time to cook so you will be able to focus on other things while your roast cooks.
  • Polish cabbage: is another really delish dish. Down below are the ingredients that you will need.
2 ½ pounds Ground Beef
2 ½ pounds Ground Pork
1 teaspoon each Sage (garlic powder, salt, pepper)
2 cups Rice (cooked)
4 Eggs
1 each Red Bell Pepper (green bell pepper, minced)
2 Large Onions (minced)
2 large heads Cabbage
1 box Rounded Toothpicks (optional)
2 cans Tomatoes
2 cans Tomato Juice
3 cans Cream Of Tomato Soup
1 teaspoon each Sage (garlic powder, salt, pepper, chili powder)
1 tablespoon Hungarian Paprika
⅓ cup Brown Sugar

Desserts

  • Pineapple Dream: This recipe will only take one about thirty minuets to make. It is a warm and fuzzy dessert for the holiday.
2 ½ cups Graham Crumbs (2 sleeves)
½ cup Unsalted Butter
2 cups Powdered Sugar (sifted)
½ cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
4 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
8 ounces Cool Whip (fat-free)
20 ounces Pineapple (crushed, drained well)
  • Peach Crumble Dessert: Now this is my ultimate favorite.
6 cups Ripe Peaches (sliced peeled)
¼ cup Brown Sugar (packed)
3 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
½ teaspoon Lemon Zest (grated)
½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1 Large Egg (room temperature, lightly beaten)
½ cup Butter (melted and cooled)
add Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
  • Carmel Apple Trifle: A dessert like this is one you do not want to miss.
50 grams Whole Grain Biscuits (1.8 oz)
200 grams Heavy Cream (milliliter, full fat, cold,/7 oz)
6 Apples (small, 500 g/18 oz)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 tablespoons Water
1 cup White Sugar
½ cup Water
½ cup Heavy Cream (full fat, room temperature)
1 tablespoon Butter
1 pinch Salt
